Publicist

A freelance public relations consultant specializing in media relations, Laurie brings 20 years’ experience in consumer and lifestyle public relations working on everything from start-ups to well-known international brands. Possessing strong writing skills and creativity, Laurie’s background as a published author and theater professional help shape her out-of-the-box thinking within a corporate structure.

Adept at finding the marketable story, she thrives on working on site with a team, or bonding solo with a private client to place hits across all platforms - print, radio, broadcast and online. Press and pitches are followed by tenacious follow-up, while available for rapid response and providing transparent communication with clients. Laurie works across all platforms with specialties in consumer and lifestyle products, children and mom, dating and relationships and, of course, authors – treating every book she works on as if it were her own.

Holding a Bachelor of Arts in Theater from Binghamton University, here is some of where she’s worked and what she does.
